Roger Crampton, Clinical Intern

Pronouns: he/him/his

Clinical Intern

Naropa University (Masters in Indo-Tibetan Buddhism)

Adams State University

My therapeutic approach is rooted in compassion, genuine presence, and unconditional positive regard—offering clients a brave space to explore vulnerability and reconnect with their deeper sense of self.

I bring a deeply spiritual and contemplative foundation to my work, supported by a master’s degree in Indo-Tibetan Buddhism from Naropa University and years of immersive mindfulness practice. I engage in daily meditation and maintain a regular yoga practice, both of which guide my ability to hold attuned, open space. My clinical work is further supported by training in stress reduction, grounding techniques, relaxation practice, and therapeutic breathwork—tools I offer clients to promote nervous system regulation and emotional resilience.

I specialize in working with individuals navigating trauma, grief, and men’s issues, and I hold deep respect for the unique challenges experienced by LGBTQIA+ and other historically marginalized populations. I strive to create a healing landscape that is identity-affirming, culturally sensitive, and grounded in equity.

My orientation is person-centered, but I also integrate evidence-based and existential frameworks, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and reality therapy. I bring curiosity and humility to each session, and I believe deeply in the wisdom that lives within every client.

If you are looking for a therapist who honors both the psychological and spiritual dimensions of healing, and who meets each client with kindheartedness, cultural humility, and skill, I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward wholeness.

I am currently attending Adams State University.
